Aqua by the Sea

Kelly Schnitzker is an art therapist and special educator with a master’s in Publication Design. She handcrafts mixed-media oyster shell jewelry dishes, ornaments, and coastal-inspired décor using donated oyster shells from East Coast restaurants. Recently she won 2nd place for Mixed Media Design at the Bel Air Art Festival, competing against 357 artists.

As a former K–5 teacher, Kelly believes creativity is unique to each person. She encourages intuitive expression through art, inspired by a young art teacher who insisted the sky must be painted blue—not green.
