St. James Academy (SJA) offers an empowering education for Kindergarten through Grade 8 students, which consists of rigorous and challenging academics, a strong sense of community, individualized education, a variety of opportunities, and a values-based philosophy.
SJA’s academic program provides rigorous educational opportunities in language arts (reading, phonics, writing, spelling, grammar, and vocabulary), mathematics, science, social studies/humanities. Extracurricular subjects include French, Spanish, faith development/Chapel, research, technology, leadership, media connections, vocal music, instrumental music, art, drama, physical education, and athletics. Extracurricular activities include numerous opportunities, as well. Moreover, SJA’s Middle School is an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) world authorized school which actively incorporates international mindedness and 21st Century thinking skills.
