Summer Programs

Get ready for a summer of pint-sized exploration! Rising YF3 (must be 3 by 9/1/26 and enrolled in the YF Program for 2026-27) and PreK4 students (must be 4 by 9/1/26 and enrolled in PK at SJA for 2026-27) are invited to join the Young Foxhound Team for summer fun. Each week features a different theme and incorporates sensory experiences, art projects, outside activities, and a snack.

June 15 – 18, 2026 (4 Days)
Rising 3rd Grade – 8th Grade
Full Day: 9 AM – 3:30 PM

Step into a world of magic at Fairy Camp, where kids in 3rd–8th grade can explore enchanted forests, create sparkling crafts like fairy wands and flower crowns, play whimsical games, and go on mystical quests. Campers will discover the wonders of nature, tell fairy stories, act in magical plays, and make new friends—all while letting their imaginations soar. Every day is a new adventure, filled with laughter, creativity, and a little sprinkle of fairy dust!

Rising 3rd Grade – 6th Grade

Get ready for a tail-wagging, paw-some adventure at Paws and Crafts: DIY Pet Fun! designed for kids in grades 3–6. Campers will unleash their creativity with hands-on projects like pet toys, and adorable treats, all while learning fun tips about caring for our furry friends from a certified dog trainer. From crafty creations to interactive games and animal-themed activities, every day is packed DIY fun!

Unleash your inner artist at Mural Makers Camp, where kids bring walls to life with color, creativity, and imagination! Campers will work together to design and paint large-scale murals, explore different painting techniques, and learn how artists turn ideas into stunning public art. Whether it’s bold shapes, vibrant landscapes, or playful characters, every camper contributes to a masterpiece they can be proud of. This camp is perfect for budding artists who love teamwork, self-expression, and making a big impact—literally!

Capture the wonders of nature at Wildlife Photography Camp, offered by Wildlife Adventures for kids in grades 5–8. Campers will explore the outdoors while learning to photograph animals, birds, and landscapes, developing skills in composition, lighting, and ethical wildlife practices. Through guided photo walks, creative projects, and fun challenges, every day is an adventure in observation and storytelling. By the end of camp, each camper will have a digital portfolio showcasing their best wildlife photos—a collection of memories and skills to last a lifetime!

Fly into a world of magic at Neverlanders Camp, where young adventurers in grades K–3 can explore enchanted lands, meet whimsical characters, and let their imaginations soar! Campers will enjoy fun crafts, playful games, magical stories, and treasure hunts, all designed to spark creativity and teamwork. Every day is full of laughter, wonder, and a sprinkle of fairy-tale magic, giving little dreamers the chance to live out their own exciting adventures.

By the end of camp, little dancers will have experienced the magic of movement and the wonder of their very own fairy-tale adventures!

Roar into adventure at Dino Explorers Camp, where little paleontologists in grades K–2 can discover the amazing world of dinosaurs! Campers will dig for “fossils,” explore dino habitats, create fun crafts, and play interactive games that bring prehistoric creatures to life. Every day is full of imagination, hands-on discovery, and roaring fun, giving young explorers the chance to learn, play, and embark on their very own dinosaur adventure!

Step into The Story Lab: Pixar & More, where students in grades 4–8 explore the magic of storytelling through animated films and creative projects! Through hands-on activities, storyboarding exercises, and collaborative projects, every camper will unlock their imagination, develop storytelling skills, and bring their ideas to life in a fun, creative, and inspiring environment.

Build, program, and play at Lego Robotics Jr. Camp, designed for students in grades 1–3! Through teamwork, problem-solving challenges, and creative design, every camper will develop critical thinking skills, confidence, and a love for STEM. Through collaborative projects, creative experimentation, and interactive tech activities, every day is an opportunity to invent, innovate, and develop critical STEM skills. Reach new heights at Acro and Aerial Dance Camp, designed for rising 4th–8th graders! Campers will combine gymnastics, dance, and aerial arts to build strength, flexibility, and creativity. Through hands-on instruction, fun challenges, and exciting routines, students will learn acrobatic skills and expressive movement in a safe, supportive environment. Each day is filled with energy, teamwork, and opportunities to shine, giving campers the confidence to soar both on the floor and in the air!

Calligraphy Camp is a half-day enrichment program for students in grades 4–8 that introduces the art of beautiful handwriting in a fun and relaxed setting. Campers practice proper letter formation, spacing, and pen control while learning basic calligraphy styles through guided instruction and creative projects. Using markers, brush pens, and traditional calligraphy tools, students build fine motor skills, patience, and confidence as they turn words into works of art. This camp is perfect for learners who want to improve handwriting while expressing creativity in a calm, encouraging environment.

Enter a world of enchantment at Wizard and Wizarding Camp, designed for students in grades 2–5! Using Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as our guide, campers will step into the life of a young wizard. Each camper will be sorted into a house and work with their fellow housemates throughout the week to earn points in hopes of winning the coveted House Cup! Campers will learn the ways of wizards by attending classes such as Potions, Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology classes. Each day will include spell casting duels and games of quidditch. Young wizards will explore their powers, work together, and embark on unforgettable quests in a world where magic truly comes to life.

Through hands-on instruction, creative challenges, and collaborative activities, students will build confidence, refine their skills, and bring their unique fashion ideas to life. By the end of camp, campers will have a collection of original creations and the tools to continue their fashion journey!

Water, water, everywhere! Make a splash at Splash Lab Camp, designed for curious kids in kindergarten through 3rd grade! Campers will explore the wonders of water through hands-on experiments, water play, and outdoor activities that mix science and fun. From floating and sinking challenges to water-themed crafts and playful experiments, each day is filled with discovery, imagination, and giggles. Be sure to wear sunscreen and clothes that can get wet as campers enjoy a week of wet, wild, and wonderful adventures where learning and play flow together!

Are you ready for it? Sing, dance, and celebrate your favorite songs at Camp Swiftie, designed for rising 1st–5th graders! Campers will make the whole place shimmer by exploring music, choreography, lyrics,and creative expression through fun activities inspired by pop music performance. There is no blank space in the schedule, as each day is filled with singing, dancing, crafts, and games that let campers unleash their inner performer, build confidence, and make new friends. Make sure it’s not a cruel summer and join us for a week of high-energy fun, creativity, and all the magic of being a true music fan!

Camp Outer Space is a fun, hands-on adventure for kindergarten through second grade students where learning takes off through play and imagination. Campers explore planets, stars, and astronauts with age-appropriate science activities, creative crafts, movement games, and imaginative storytelling. Each day encourages curiosity, teamwork, and discovery as children build rockets, pretend to travel through space, and learn about the wonders of the universe in a safe, engaging, and joyful environment designed just for young learners.

Sharpen your writing skills at SJA’s Writing Clinic, a hands-on program for students in grades 5–8! Campers will focus on improving grammar, sentence structure, storytelling, and creative expression through engaging exercises, writing prompts, and collaborative projects. Each day offers opportunities to practice new techniques, receive feedback, and build confidence as a writer. By the end of the program, students will have strengthened their writing abilities, discovered their unique voice, and created pieces they can be proud to share.

Ignite your imagination at The Story Lab: Creative Writing, a writers workshop designed for students in grades 4–8! Campers will explore the art of storytelling through writing exercises, prompts, and collaborative activities that strengthen narrative, character, and dialogue skills. In a supportive workshop environment, students will share their work, receive feedback, and refine their writing while discovering their unique voice.

Full Day, Two Weeks (Two weeks required $600)

It’s Your Cue! is a 2-week intensive where rising 3rd–8th graders create a musical production from start to finish! Whether you love to perform or want to explore the magic behind the scenes, there’s something for everyone. Campers can shine on stage with acting, singing, and dancing, or contribute backstage with set design, props, costumes, and stagecraft. Each day is filled with hands-on instruction, creativity, teamwork, and performance practice, culminating in a Friday evening (5 PM) theatrical performance on July 17th that showcases the campers’ hard work and talent. Join us for an unforgettable theater experience where imagination, confidence, and the magic of live performance come alive!

From mastering space-themed challenges to teaming up on imaginative quests, every day is filled with adventure, creativity, and excitement. Join us for a week of epic space journeys where young explorers can train, play, and become heroes of their own galactic story!

Get ready for a high-energy Soccer Pass & Play experience led by Josh Petty, starter for Sheppard University’s Men’s Soccer Team and 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Athlete of the Year! This fun-filled program brings soccer to life through exciting games, creative drills, and tons of movement for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Morning sessions for K–2 focus on playful skill-building like passing, dribbling, and teamwork, while afternoon sessions for grades 3–5 level up the action with faster-paced games, sharper skills, and friendly competition. Every session is designed to build confidence, encourage teamwork, and make sure every player leaves smiling, moving, and loving the game!

Whip up some science fun at Curious Scientists Camp, designed for students in grades K–3! Each day is filled with curiosity, creativity, and tasty discoveries that make learning exciting and delicious. Join us for a week of bubbling fun, messy experiments, and a love for science you can taste and touch!

GeographyQuest is a one-week, gamified cultural exploration camp for students in grades 4–8 that transforms geography into an exciting global adventure. Campers travel across continents through interactive quests, map challenges, and team-based games while exploring world cultures, landforms, climates, traditions, and daily life. Using passports, points, and badges, students build map-reading skills, critical thinking, and collaboration as they complete hands-on missions and friendly competitions. By the end of the week, campers gain a stronger global perspective and a deeper appreciation for the diversity and connections that shape our world.

Score big and have a blast at SJA’s Girls Field Hockey Clinic, designed for students in grades 4–8! All levels are welcome—whether you’re new to the game or looking to sharpen your skills. Campers will learn and practice the fundamentals of field hockey, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and game strategy. Each session combines skill-building drills, small-sided games, and full-field scrimmages to help players develop confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Christmas in July Camp is a festive and fun-filled experience for students in grades 4–8 that brings holiday cheer to the middle of summer! Campers enjoy winter-themed games, creative crafts, team challenges, and seasonal activities with a cool twist—no snow required. From holiday trivia and scavenger hunts to gift-making and friendly competitions, students build teamwork, creativity, and joy while celebrating the spirit of giving and togetherness. Christmas in July Camp Jr. is a cheerful, half-day–style summer camp designed especially for students in grades K–3, bringing the magic of the holidays to a fun and playful summer setting. Campers enjoy age-appropriate holiday crafts, games, songs, and themed activities that spark imagination and joy. Through hands-on projects, storytelling, and movement games, children build creativity, social skills, and holiday spirit while celebrating kindness and togetherness. It’s a jolly summertime adventure filled with smiles, laughter, and Christmas cheer—no winter coats needed!

Join our Girls Lacrosse Summer Clinic for 4th–8th graders! This half-day afternoon camp is perfect for players of all skill levels who want to improve their lacrosse fundamentals, including passing, shooting, cradling, and defense, while building confidence, teamwork, and game sense. Through fun drills, small-group instruction, and friendly competition, campers will sharpen their skills, stay active, and enjoy a positive, supportive lacrosse environment
