Many of our faculty participated in community service projects this fall by providing countless hours of talent and dedication in order to contribute to the larger framework of our world. On Election Day, faculty gathered at the Maryland Agriculture Center to husk specialty corn and built bat boxes here at the school. In October, faculty gathered at First Fruits Farm in Freeland to help with the gleaning of the fields. Others have spent time working individually on projects for other non-profit organizations. The volunteerism that our faculty has shown is a part of an initiative from our Faith in Action committee to develop programs for our students that promote service learning.
