I have always been intrigued by the way children learn, feel, think and perceive the world around them. That fascination naturally led me to become a child psychologist. There is no greater privilege than to accompany and at times to guide a child through the alternately stormy and joyful adventure of growing up. I feel privileged to serve the SJA community at large but also to get to know and help each child on their own journey through life. My hope is that as a community we will empower each child to become a life-long learner who is creative, thoughtful, discerning, generous, curious, and passionate about being an instrument of change in the world, and that we might impart to each student what St. James has described as “the wisdom from above that is first of all pure, peace loving, gentle at all times, willing to yield to others, full of mercy and good deeds.”
