Working at St James as a Spanish teacher has been a very meaningful and rewarding experience for me. Having the opportunity to raise my daughter bilingual has inspired and encouraged me to promote my beautiful traditions, heritage, and language.

I was born and raised in Mexico. My husband is also from Mexico, and we have been living in the United States for almost 11 years. We have lived in New Hampshire, DC- where our only daughter was born, and in Maryland for 7 years. We love it here!

This year I was appointed as a faculty member at St. James, and I cannot express my gratitude and excitement enough to be able to share all this with my students. My wish is to build a strong foundation in Spanish while the students discover and learn about different cultures and awake a genuine interest in the language.

Even though I earned a J.D. in Law in Mexico and a master’s degree in public Relations and Corporate Communications at Georgetown University, I have always felt passionate about becoming an educator.

I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two cats! I also enjoy cooking, baking, skiing, ice skating, and spending holidays in Mexico.
