Christine Wuhrman

Music has been a part of my life from a young age. I began piano lessons at age seven and was recruited to play cello in the school orchestra at age 9. I remember singing a solo in the fourth grade production of Alice in Wonderland!
I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Ithaca College and a Master’s Degree in Performance from George Mason University. I have over twenty years of experience teaching orchestra and general music in Fairfax County, Virginia, and Montgomery County, Maryland. I now live in Pennsylvania with my husband and three children. I have a small studio of private cello students, and I continue to freelance as a cellist at weddings and special events. I am excited to join the SJA family this year!
