Welcome to St. James Academy!

Thank you for your interest in our wonderful school.

St. James was founded 200 years ago, and today we are still committed to a program of excellence that prepares our students for lifelong learning. The philosophy of St. James Academy — to pursue knowledge, build community and serve others as children become citizens of a global community both inspires and resonates with me as an educator.

St. James Academy is a thought leader in education that includes project-based, experiential learning to help students build a relevant, adaptive skill set with a strong academic foundation.  

In my third year as Head of School, I am grateful for the many meaningful partnerships: with students who are bright, kind, creative, driven, and spirited about this community, with faculty and staff who are passionate about teaching and truly care for their students, with a dedicated administration that shares wisdom and expertise, with a board that is committed to supporting the school, with parents to raise extraordinary young men and women, with our supportive Rector and the St. James Parish,  and with alumni who care deeply about their alma mater and its success. It is my pleasure and privilege to lead St. James Academy.
