The arts are alive and thriving at St. James Academy. From Friday night Children’s Dinner Theatre, grade level art and music productions to our Annual Celebrate Arts Night in May, St. James Academy provides a well-rounded art education to students, as well as parents.
The Drama curriculum at SJA is designed to encourage students to engage effectively with an audience, as well as to discover their own talents and interests in the arts.
Our Vocal Music program exposes students to a culturally diverse range of musical styles. Students are encouraged to participate in the St. James Chapel Choir, or in solo performances.
Like Vocal Music our overall goal for Instrumental Music is to instill a love of music, especially ensemble participation, in every student, as well as, to teach each student to read music to the best of his/her ability.
