Rec Council Lacrosse

St. James Lacrosse is the oldest independent program in the MYLA (Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association). We are open to all players. Our fields are located on the campus of St. James Academy, 3100 Monkton Rd., Monkton, Md. 21111.

We have a coed beginners clinic for 5 yr. olds on Sunday afternoons in April and May. We have a 6 yr. old uniform clinic for boys which allows them to work on team and individual skills with their own age group. We offer boys and girls teams from 6 thru 12 years old which compete in the MYLA.

Our goals are simple, to introduce kids to the great game of lacrosse, and to coach them in a positive and encouraging manner. We require all parents, players, and coaches to live up to the highest standards of sportsmanship. We want the kids to have fun, play hard, and be competitive, while always remembering to respect their teammates, opponents, and officials.

We are an all volunteer organization, and as such, need your time and support both on and off the field. Please contact Nick Meittinis or Todd Workman if you would like to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
